My biggest use of AI is creating bash and python scripts to generate new folder structures and empty files, so I can start working on tasks I need to do.

I was not a big fan of Brave because of the historical baggage and the need to sit and debloat it even if just once. But now with Brave Origin running as my daily browser I love it a lot! (It is free for Linux users.)

I am amazed at how inaccurate all but one exit poll organisation were in predicting the Tamil Nadu election results. And that one organisation celebrated more for the ‘victory of data science’ than the political party that won.

I think I have started ignoring days completely. I know what today’s date is, but I have no clue what day of the week it is. And honestly, I like that.

Woke up to a massive thunderstorm this fine (supposedly Summer) morning. It is supposed to get worse tomorrow. They are expecting hailstorms in May! IN MAY?!

I was at peace with using WordPress.com for more than a year now after always self-hosting WordPress. I am finally fed up with WordPress.com.

Alex Zanardi - what a legend and symbol of resilience. Rest in peace.

Any Linux users who will like to test a Micro.blog client? The focus of the app is on writing and posting.

(I can share with you the repo with a Flatkpak download file.)

One-third of the year has gone by. The only thing I wish I did more: watch less news.

Testing something I built for Linux operating systems to post on Micro.blog. Thank you @vincent for the new API documentation you have created. Drafts are working. Will this get posted? Let us see!

This unplanned F1 break has been too long. And it will be another 3 weeks after Miami this weekend. smh.

Brandolini’s law states “the amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it.”

I have been working on developing a platform that is ready enough to go live tomorrow if needed. However, I am currently struggling to convince myself that I am truly willing to put in the effort required to launch it and sustain it over time. I am not sure if there is a real demand for it. It solves a personal problem, and it might help others if they want it. But I am uncertain whether this is something people genuinely need or desire.

Bhuvi & Hazlewood showing their classic Test match form today in a T20 match. Delhi were 13/6 after 6 overs. What an opening spell! 🏏

My previous organisation never bothered hiring anyone for my role, and now 4 months later they want me to help with the same transition they gave up on when I was still there.

“With 2500+ unread items in my feed reader, I’m officially declaring RSS bankruptcy.” ~ Chris Martin

I love the term “RSS bankruptcy” and might end up filing for it myself many a times in the future for the ever growing collection of 500+ feeds I have.

Always in awe of the human body under effort. Sabastian Sawe smashed the two-hour marathon barrier. Tigst Assefa shattered her own world record (Wo). In the wheelchair division, Marcel Hug took his 8th win & Catherine Debrunner her 4th. Pure human peak at the London Marathon today.

“The most underrated skill isn’t knowing how to use every new tool - it’s knowing which ones to ignore so you can actually get some work done.” ~ Vladimir Savić
